What Not To Wear!

Today was an exciting day here at Curvaceous K! We had the wonderful people from What Not To Wear bring in a young local woman from the Bronx to shop!

It was the first day of shopping which, if you ever watched the show, is usually the hardest. But from what we were told and observed, she had a pleasant experience with us and bought a few items during the 2 hours they were here.

There is no date for the airing yet but as soon as we know,  you'll know. We look forward to seeing how the episode comes together in the future.

We would like to thank all the people at TLC and What Not To Wear for this great opportunity to show their viewers what we have to offer to the plus size community.

With this being the last season of a great show we are truly honored and humbled that we have been chosen to be a part of this amazing show.

Time Out New York Put Us On List Of Best Places To Shop!

Time Out New York released it's list for Best New Places for fashion and clothing in New York 2013 and we have are on it!

This is exciting for us as our store and our special customers become more and more known throughout New York and across the country.

Plus size shoppers are nothing new but have gotten little attention until recently. The fashion industry as a whole has greatly ignored the plus size woman for several years. As the average size of the American woman  has gone up the average size of a fashion model has gone down.

It feels good to see more attention being given the plus size woman and her shopping environment.
