Count Down Has Begun

We know many of you enjoy our blog and Facebook page. You may have noticed that we have been a bit silent on our blog.

We have been busy working on our store and finally the end (or the beginning) is near!

We finally have a location and are finishing up all the red tape that will allow us to remodel the space and begin offering all of you the store we have been promising.

We are not disclosing the location until we have our official opening. To give you a little hint as to where our soon to be home will be, here is a link to the areas Visitor's Center.

We hope you are as excited as we are about this news. Once we are able to finally open our doors to you we will give you the information you need to come and visit us.

Thank you for your patience and future patronage.

Curvy Connections

We here at Curvaceous K are broadening our reach in the plus-size fashion community and are making friends with many of the movers and shakers of the curvy world.

On Monday August 6th we were fortunate to attend a cocktail reception for the Curveturiere brand designed by Mary Pifko and Kelly Moore.

In attendance were the designers of Curveturiere, Mary and Kelly, stylist Steffany Allen, Sweet Nothings blogger (Sweets), myself and a special appearance by Gwen DeVoe of FFF.

The Curveturiere line is designed by two lovely ladies, Mary Pifko and Kelly Moore pictured below.

Their line of intimates is scheduled to come out Spring of 2013. A great line with amazing attention to detail and structure, Curveturiere comes in sizes XS-3X with bust sizes of 32-50 in D-K cups.

Below are a couple pictures of the line being modeled by the lovely Avril from MSA Models NYC.

Avril was amazing. She was fun and lively and encouraged everyone to really pay attention to the shape and fit. I can honestly say I have never paid so much attention to another woman's breasts before.

There was a lengthy discussion had by all regarding the dilemma of side cleavage. We were all happy to see that Mary and Kelly really resolved that issue with their designs.

As mentioned before the lovely stylist Steffany Allen came along with me. Steffany was the head stylist to FFF Week. Additionally she styles many of the layouts for Plus Model Magazine. Her latest work can be seen in their August 2012 Denim issue. We love her and hope to do much more with her in the future.

Sweets from Sweet Nothings blog was there and gave us some of her insight on being a full busted lady. Check out her blog at www.sweetnothingsnyc.com.

A special treat for all, Gwen DeVoe, founder of FFF week was there. (She's pictured above with our friend Steffany)
I was lucky enough to get a picture with her at FFF Week this year! Of course so did many other people so I am sure she wouldn't possibly remember.

I had a great time with everyone there. We here at Curvaceous K hope to bring more of these events to your attention in the future.
